Fresh coconut preparation
We work with selected production partners in Indonesia to supply export-ready virgin coconut oil for importers, distributors, and private label brands.
Virgin coconut oil (VCO) can be produced using several different methods depending on processing approach, equipment, and desired product characteristics.
As shown above, VCO can be produced through fresh-dry processes, low-pressure extraction, fermentation methods, and centrifuge-based separation.
Each method can produce acceptable virgin coconut oil, but results may vary in terms of clarity, stability, moisture content, and overall consistency.
The centrifuge process is commonly preferred for producing more consistent and stable VCO, especially for export-oriented supply.
Virgin coconut oil can be discussed for multiple commercial uses depending on formulation, target market, and buyer requirements.

Virgin coconut oil (VCO) is oil obtained from fresh mature coconut without chemical refining, bleaching, or deodorizing. It is suitable for consumption without further processing and retains its natural coconut characteristics.
VCO is produced from fresh coconut using mechanical or natural processes, while RBD coconut oil is derived from copra and undergoes refining, bleaching, and deodorizing. As a result, RBD oil is neutral in odor and color, while VCO retains its natural coconut profile.
Typical commercial VCO is clear to water-clear in appearance, with low moisture, low free fatty acid (FFA), and low peroxide value. Final specifications can be aligned based on buyer requirements and agreed standards.
VCO is valued for its minimal processing, natural origin, and clean positioning. It contains a high proportion of medium chain fatty acids (MCFAs), has a light texture, and is widely used across food, cosmetic, and personal care applications.
VCO can be discussed for multiple applications including edible oil, bath and cleansing products, aromatherapy or massage oils, skin care, and hair care formulations.
No. Coconut oil is naturally stable and does not require refrigeration. It may solidify at lower temperatures, which is normal and does not affect quality.
Packaging can be discussed based on buyer requirements, including bottles, jerrycans, pails, and drums for export.
